Brain and Learning

The key to education is learning to learn. This is required to generate a self-created by the mind under the mandates of the brain, which analyzes and interprets information and develops a results report saying if the information is retained for future contingencies or if it discarded because it does not have significance. The human brain is one engine or central computer which controls all activities of the human body. From digestion, respiration, heart rate, even the most complex thoughts, such as walking and moving arms. All orders, either automatically (as heartbeat) to the volunteers (as walk), leave a process through the human brain. Therefore, it is noted that activities generated by brain are due to certain peculiarities, according to the age when human beings are. As Marian Diamond noted in his summary of the conference of male and female brain: Interestingly, people who see a human brain for first time often ask, "Is it male or female?"; is not verifiable to say that a brain is a specific sex, but each person can study and generate hypothesis about the behavior observed on these brains and also to study the behavior from pregnancy and efficacy in the study of a specific person.

To make brain observations is necessary to do animal studies first, because laboratories do not have yet human volunteers for such studies. Rats brain have the highest similarities to the human brain. Hence the studies of these animals become more credible in terms of characteristics that may have the man or woman brain. Studies conceive that women's brain is more symmetrical, unlike the asymmetries in the male, that is deducted because of two larges beams connecting the two hemispheres, which are still higher than the one presented in men. An example would be: for the female main functions in life are to endure, protect and rise their children, unlike male behavior whose main functions are to involve, find and defend their territory. It could say that neural activities in the person start from pregnancy, as indicated by a reference published in the Ming Dynasty in 1237 notes that environmental factors are very important to influence both pre and postnatal brain, because these are crucial in their development. Some factors to create a good educational background accepted by brain since its inceptions are: emotional support, nutritional diet, multisensory enrichment, stress-free atmosphere, and opportunity for choice, exploration and fun environment and an enriched environment for active participation. All these factors help to stimulation of the brain, making information transfer and associate, to exercise appropriate action. To this should be to note that the intelligence acquired by humans from birth, are also stimulated by the environmental factor, it means that the percentages of the dominant styles of intelligence such as linguistics, visual-spatial and tactile-kinesthetic have changed due to new technologies like Internet, video games, television, DVD’s and other, creating a mental laziness in the person, making them to lose the reading, listening moment or sharing a story at readings groups.

In conclusion, brain, despite being an engine for processing a machine, do not oversaturated or encourage, as this requires time to digest the information received by him, and it may exercise functions and actions for logical given situations. Factors have a major stimulus in educating people, helping them to develop multiple intelligences as possible to be significant to other and being connected with their emotional memories, causing brain process in output to that product called knowledge.
